Nyika is 8 to 1 underdog. Opetaia is rightfully the favourite, but Nyika might be being sold short here.

Nyika has as much chance of winning this fight as Sam Goodman has against Inoue. Sorry.......possibly a slightly better chance because he can punch..

Huge upset if it happens. Nyika is stylistic food for Jai. What’s even worse for Nyika is that Jai doesn’t seem like he’s overlooked him at all and is in great shape. Lamb to the slaughter imo.

I notice almost all here are backing Opetaia

    I repeat my claim-

Nyika will surprise to the upside and I think he can win

Indeed, good points. I agree with this.

But it won't really be a lamb to the slaughter because despite it being an uphill battle, Nyika is actually coming with the intention and belief to win. That will make it more interesting for a bit than the usual roll-over opponent who doesn't think he can win.

I think it's an interesting match up

Nyika is the second most talented opponent of Jai's behind Briedis

But he might be the third physically toughest behind Briedis and Massey

But if he's tough enough to take what Jai can dish out it could become really interesting

I think Jai's stops him in good fashion but I hope it goes some rounds because, as said, it could be interesting

Head saying Opetaia but being from NZ I hope Nyika can get the job done and bring the strap home.

    Final prediction - Opetaia UD

Have to own the loss for my boy Nyika
