Jai hasn't even had 1 fight at HW

Based on that you'd have to back Wardley

I think Opetaia most likely wins but I dont like his defense

    Wardley could catch him

Ill go with Opetaia on points in a fight where he might have to get off the deck to win

It's more hypothetical than anything, to see if people think Jai could step up and do it. I get your point though.

My point is more that it's too hypothetical to justify a poll...

And because it's a question well into the realms of fantasy guesswork, we're talking about shading possibilities more than anything else - and even that is highly speculative.

Wardley was out on his feet vs Parker and won by a hail Mary then collapsed in fatigue after the ref waved it off, Parker took some heavy shots.

    This is true.

    Jai is not a heavyweight.
Jai has not fought proven heavyweights.
Jai has not beaten proven heavyweights.

As of right now? There's no evidence he could cut it.

Maybe he could, maybe he couldn't and maybe he will, or maybe he'll carry on at cruiser for the rest of his career - we just don't know yet.

"Opetaia is possibly the best offensive fighter in the world in any weight class"?

Not really close to being true but whatevs.

Wardley sparks him tf out. Opetaia's defence is awful. In a division with a prime Usyk, Briedis, Gassiev and Dorticos he would get sparked tf out. Jai is flattered by fighting in one of the weakest eras of arguably the weakest division of all time. David Nyika was tagging him with heavy shots at will but Fabio Wardley wouldn't? Not close.

    This is true.

Wardleys not a very high standard. Was outscored in both his title fights. He relies more on his power then Wilder did. Wilder for all everyone crapped on him only has one come from behind KO. If most of his opponents went the distance they were still losing.
