    Briedis is made of steel, he just doesn’t seem like the sort of fighter that can get it beaten out of him.

    He's super tough. James Ali Bashir said he was one of the few fighters he'd seen spar over 30 rounds against Wlad who hadn't been hurt. The toughness was on full display today.

    I really thought it looked like he was on his way to getting stopped at one point and that Opetaia was going to overwhelm him with his youth, freshness, power and speed. I've seen that happen far too many times with the young lion and the old warrior in the twilight of their career but he dug really deep and hung tough. Opetaia is a certified warrior too and he made a fan out of me with his talent, heart and toughness.

    Maybe Opetaia will give Breidis a rematch after Breidis gives Gevor one

    In fairness, Opetaia beat Breidis, who is not a big fan of fighting by the rules either. He would have been DQ'd a couple of times too with a fair ref
