I can kind of understand both really. Bivol wants to shake off the ring rust and Opetaia might have an eye on that Tszyu card in March.

No surprise there are not many putting their hand up to get in there with Opetaia.

Seems like Aussia media is sleeping on him?

Best fighter from Aus currently IMO & has the potential to be a big star for Boxing

If he becomes better known & can get his opponents big paydays then he will get the opponents he wants because money talks, its why everyone is ok with facing Inoue even crossing promotional boundaries & borders, they know he will get them the biggest payday of their life

Anyway its better that he is fighting rather than staying inactive, too much of that these days, can't build a decent fanbase if you only show up once a year & worse

No Limit promotions the team that promotes Tszyu has an exclusive deal with Fox Sports our main sports broadcaster so unless you are signed to No Limit you will get barely any exposure. No Limit have done a great job with Tszyu but they have screwed over a lot of our other top fighters.

This is how it is when you're a title holder. If you're not unifying against the other Titleists in the division you fight who you can in your top 15 rankings. That's another KO for Opetaia.

Opetaia just had a fight, didn't he? Him getting in the ring this fast is more of a B-show/one-sided exhibition of his skill rather than a challenge. There is a place for those if the main event is good.

I have no issues with it, if he keeps fighting every two or three months, he'll wipe out every British CW hypejob poseur in a little over a year. Ellis Zorro just went life and death with Luca D'Ortenzi, Opetaia should make quick work of him, in another showcase.

Yeah he just had a fight where he made very short work of a better guy than he's fighting next. It took nothing out of him at all.

It's a keep busy fight for Jai against a guy who has no realistic chance of beating him.

Jai may have to move up to heavy. He's the best cruiser in the world by that far that it's a joke.

Zorro is a good fighter on the domestic circuit and he can crack and is fun to watch. Opetaia is going to administer an ugly beating to him and knock him senseless though.

Haha yeah, good exposure for Opetaia I guess but that's about it.

Would be nice to see him unify with CBS next year but I don't think Ben Shalom is overly keen on doing a fight with a rival promoter.
