Poor Burton was unlucky Zorro somehow held him up after battering him, only to set him up for the brutal KO finish.

An interesting post to reflect on now the IBF are threatening to strip Opetaia if he goes ahead with it.

He already dropped their trinket, so they can shove their blackmail up their arse

As per their own rules (going by what happened after they stripped Cordina) Jai might become mandatory to whoever wins the vacant belt & it might come right back to him

Yep, he dumped the belt cos the money is far too good. Don’t blame him, you can’t eat belts.

His payday v Zorro dwarfs everything he’s earned before. And he’s due to get more next time around too.

Are you saying that a switched on Jordan Thompson beats Opetaia?

That’s a joke right? Opetaia dished out a fearful beating the first time. I mean, that was as one sided a fight as you will ever see even if Thompson took it on short notice.

Opetaia is the best cruiserweight in the world by that far it isn’t worth mentioning. He may very well end up being the best heavyweight too. This is a seriously special talent.

What does it matter whether it’s two undefeated Brits or two undefeated guys from anywhere? What has the fact that they are Brits got anything to do with it?

Zorro is going to get murdered in there. This is not likely to go 6 rounds.

I believe that Jordan Thompson, the guy Opetaia easily dismantled in his first defense, would beat Zorro should they ever meet in the ring. This is a huge mismatch.

JT took Jai lightly the first time, I can assure you that won't be the case in the rematch, if Jai ever mans up and stops running that is

Max Schmeling beat the living crap out of Joe Louis in their first fight but look what happened in the rematch? A non-weight drained, full camp, switched on JT who takes Jai seriously will be a completely different proposition for Jai than the version who showed up in the first fight

On paper he might be ''the best'' but JT possesses all the tools to dethrone him and I promise you it won't end well for Jai if they ever do step foot into a ring together again. It won't end at all well. And if I was Jai I would take that fight ASAP at CW agains because if it happens up at HW Jai is getting carried out on a stretcher.

Exactly. It's incredibly-difficult to make a good living in Cruiserweight right now.
