Torres' mouthpiece came out, ref docks him a point. Escobedo still bringing it like a madman. Whipping in looping hooks and body shots. He's trapping Torres in the corner. He's having a harder time getting away. They're trading hooks. A left hook grazes Torres' chin, rocks him. Torres mouth agape.

Torres might have a mandible problem. It's swelling quite a bit and he can't hold the mouthpiece in.

Torres has had his mouth open from round 1. Looks like a natural thing for him, and it's not good. He's a mouthbreather.

This is good matchmaking really, for one its an entertaining fight even though Torres has won most of the rounds but he will also learn a lot from this when it comes to pacing himself and being more economical.

Seems like he allowed the early success to lure him into a false sense of security

Torres might go down in the tenth from a body shot he's getting beaten up there something fierce.

I think Torres is hurt to the body. He is bending over with arm protecting ribs

    Round 9 Escobedo 10-8
    Round 10 Torres 10-9

Escobedo right at him at the start. Still pressing forward, letting 'em fly. Both seem a little gassed now.The more accurate puncher in Torres is taking advantage of that. Torres starting to land counter hooks to the body, nasty one twos and uppercuts clean. They trade at the bell.

    96-93 Torres
