barraza is responding with punches. You cant stop the fight if he's defending and attacking.

The referee is only looking for an excuse to stop it, look at how close he is. But he cant.

    Round 1 Rocha 10-9
    Round 2 Rocha 10-9
    Round 3 Rocha 10-9
    Round 4 Rocha 10-9
    Round 5 Rocha 10-9
    Round 6 Rocha 10-9
    Round 7 Rocha 10-9
    Round 8 Rocha 10-9
Round 9 Rocha wins by TKO

Rocha taking his time, backing him up with jabs and one twos and hooks to the body, Barraza constantly moving away, Rocha backs him to the ropes, unloads a flurry to teh head, rocks Barraza, finally the ref steps in and waves it, mercifully.

His legs were so weak that it looked like his brain was totally ****ed from this beating. Barraza needs to have an extended stay in the hospital. His chin is ridiculously strong but my lord that was brutal.

I don't see the comparison with Victor Ortiz at all, Rocha doesn't have the power and athleticism that Ortiz did on the way up but he looks like a more composed and patient fighter

I dont agree. This fight was not a fight to be stopped. Barraza was fighting and losing, that's all. He was able to defend himself and to attack with coordination. He was absolutely exhausted though, because of the hard work that rocha did to his body, and he was receiving a hell of a beating. But he was completely concious and able.

Anyway, the referee did wonderful, the very first oportunity he had to stop it he did it.

it's stupid to take a fight like this one vs rocha after only 2 weeks from your previous fight.

He has paid this mistake really expensive unfortunately.
