Munguia is what he is, a limited fighter who wants to win, and has enough skill and talent to be at the top but who will never be at the very top.

He's still young, but with his style I can presume that he will be past his best by age 30 or sooner. While he is fresh he should give the top hell though.

Bear in mind, I've never been a Golovkin guy. But that's a relative thing, and I'd still favor him to plough through Munguía in a fairly routine manner.

With that said, if Munguía were to beat him, I'd smirk my ass off.

Golovkin is definitely a level above, even an aging Golovkin. But I can see Golovkin with his arms raised sporting a black eye and a bloody nose. That's how much heart Munguia seems to have.

116-112 or 117-11 are the only viable scores.

Good to see Munguia starting to live up to his potential. A true star in the making for me.

I've only ever seen Munguía in one-sided fights. Rosado made him work and it was a good test of Munguía's chin, heart and battling qualities. Great fight and it's good to see Munguía have to show more than being able to KO his opponents.

Crap man you're right. Jacobs fight was only a year ago. Not sure wtf I was thinking.

    ...

Being high on Rosado is different than thinking he's 'elite.

I'm high on Rosado, and actually picked him to win tonight. But that doesn't make him elite, and he wouldn't have been elite had he won.

Usyk is elite. Canelo is elite.

Elite is reserved for the top tier level in boxing. Rosado has never and will never be that level.

Still though, he's a solid solid fighter.

    ....

We shall see man. They're all food fights. Guys like him can have shorter careers so hopefully he doesn't waste much time with nonsense fights. But this is boxing so I don't have my hopes up lol.

Impressed by Munguia, he has definitely improved. Still has ways to go but that was an excellent performance

I had it 118-110 for Munguia, Gabe was just shelling up hoping to counter a single shot that'd come his way but Munguia did the smart thing by punching in combos, great fight to watch but Munguia ain't elite yet, a skilled counterpuncher would've picked him apart .

I can see that, but i think Munguia has reached elite status at 160. GGG will be his signature fight.
