Nope, he receives not even a shred of it from me. De La Hoya's predatory matchmaking skills gets all the credit... once again.

Could be. But you gotta agree that this wasn't the fight for Ryder to take after the Canelo fight.

Yes. Big Frank over here prides himself on his ability to make the fight at the right time, as in when the opponent is old and the odds of them getting old overnight greatly increase or when they've had most of the stuffing beaten out of them.

Team Mung did it with Dev

12 round war against Jacobs in which Dev was hurt and dropped
12 round brutal war against Culcay in which Dev was hurt badly and very nearly dropped
Brutal 12 round war against GGG in which Dev was hurt and dropped
Brutal 12 round war against Jermall in which Dev was hurt and almost dropped
10 round war against Adames in which Dev again took a ton of punishment

And Dev's sadistic handlers finally give him a softer touch against Joshua Conley over 10 rounds

And then Team Mung pick the last few morsels of flesh of Dev's body and act like he beat a prime Dev

Dev took a sickening amount of punishment in all those wars, almost all of which against big punchers

Its not about 1 punch power. Its about volume and Mungia throws more punches than Canelo does these days, and he just broke Ryder down.

Yeah but he had to dig so deep to show those glimpses. I don't know how anyone can even argue that he's not a shell of his former self. It was abundantly clear to see he has nothing left anymore. It was wishful thinking on my part to think he would still have something left after the beating he took against Clenelo but I knew from very early on tonight he didn't

On the topic of a Canelo fight, I just don’t see it. Canelo has a contract with Showtime, which as far as I’m concerned means he’s doing business with Al Haymon. In other words, Canelo won’t fight anyone not under PBC/Showtime…period.

Canelo has 2 fights left in his contract and you best believe ONLY PBC fighters will get a shot at Canelo. This means Charlo and Benavidez. Possibly Crawford if he sells himself officially

Can't hurt to call him out tho. Besides Munguia and his manager on are record saying Canelos team reached out to him. The balls in Canelos court, if he wants Munguia he can secure that fight easily.

I won't lie, I ain't exactly antsy to see this fight. I enjoyed the bout tonight, and he showed improvements yeah, but nothing about tonight budged me on the notion Canelo beats Munguia. That said though, I'm sure it prolly ends up better than Canelo-Jermall at this point, so if that's the alternative to this, sign me up for Canelo-Munguia

It's all mexican showdown, it will make money for sure and Munguia is no walk in the park for Canelo. Think of Barerra-Morales, Marquez-Barerra, Canelo-Chavez Jr. Those fights were sellers.

In the 1st round he got stuck on the back foot and took about 4 jabs to the face. He didn't move his head, raise a glove to defend himself, he just took them. Bong bong bong bong.

    That's a shot fighter.
