    Unclear what the stakes will be, although reportedly this is scheduled for 12 rounds @ middleweight. It was originally supposed to be a WBC final eliminator in 2021, but Munguía's team chose to decline it at that particular time.

    I hope you are wrong. Derevyanchenko deserves a bigger name W before riding off into the sunset than...*checks notes* Culcay or Soliman. (not that Mung is better, but bigger name than both)

    Sergey was an excellent fighter, another guy who with a few 'what ifs' could have been a solid champion. Unfortunately he seems done and will most likely lose.

    I really feel that Derev has had such a horribly mismanaged career. Now he's likely gonna lose to someone that he would've beaten 4 years ago. He has been washed and hung out to dry.

    Even the him that lost to Golovkin would've won this one. I definitely don't think he has any world class left in him. :ohno

    Think Munguia takes this on points. Good to see him in a decent matchup for once. Cant believe its been nearly 4 years since he was in title fight. He's gonna become the next Zurdo if he's not careful.
