Munguía is throwing headhunting three-piece combos and big reach-around left hooks downstairs, thunding halfway to O'Sullivan's kidneys. Faltering steps inside by O'Sullivan, bringing in the rear foot and staking it but not punching before Munguía can unload enough to make him rethink and back straight out. Munguía starting to pour it on late, flurrying and hurting O'Sullivan.

Damn it, Spike, letting him gain confidence from the jump was exactly what you weren't supposed to do.

 

Round 2

O'Sullivan roping out a loose 1-2 at the skull of Munguía, bouncing off it with no effect. O'Sullivan lowers his aim when Munguía squats to work the body, and ends up just beaching his fists across the shoulder blades. Poor accuracy from O'Sullivan at mid-range and beyond. They enter a phonebooth and both land body shots, Munguía's harder. Munguía drifting in & out, toying with O'Sullivan, playfully extending a jab into his face, then stepping in to swap power shots. Munguía takes a plunging straight right into the solar plexus and twists away from it while also whacking a left hook against O'Sullivan's jaw. Nice lunging straight combination by O'Sullivan catching Munguía dancing straight outward after having repeated the pattern a few times and grown predictable.
