Seeing more than a few whispers of this nature though:

...plus Liam really wants this fight. He'd probably be willing to give up all the usual B-side concessions to get the chance.

Considering he robbed Hogan in Mexico I find this statement deeply ironic.

Doesn't matter WHERE they'll fight. Fact: Munguia will get BRUTALLY knocked out here. Williams will completly destroy him.

I can literally visualize the KO, Munguia will be a sitting duck for Liam's right cross, he'll land it, stun Munguia, who will be standig there weeble wobbling with his chin up in the air, while is body is slightly bent forward. Liam will follow up with a series of short compact hooks to the head, maybe an uppercut or two, Munguia staggers into the ropes, goes down in a heap, the ref waves it. This is going to be an emulsification.

I only caught the last couple of rounds of the Spike fight and Munguia looked like he'd actually improved in certain areas to me. His hand speed and his jab most notably. IIRC and I could be remembering this wrong, the last fight of his I saw was the Liam Smith fight.

I expect Liam Williams 2.0 to be too skilful and powerful for him and if Mung's defence is still as hideously porous as it was back then he should stop him.

Hmm...the fact they've given up on attempting to scrub all trace of his mediocrity off the net means they'll be looking to cash him out before he becomes a major liability. Heads up, Liam. :D

    I think it’s 50/50.
But it ends in KO either way. Good scrap.

Definitely clean Ingle gym version of Williams wins a clear decision. Not sure he stops him. Fun fight
