It was a good fight while it lasted that lip cut was nasty as hell .

I read that the judges had it 5 to 1, 5 to 1 and 4 to 2. Pretty wide maybe?

Very possible. They were close rounds. A case could be made for each fighter being ahead, but either way Jame Munguia landed the very best punch of the fight that resulted in Johnson being TKOd.

Feels wide from TV tho i was shocked when they showed the punch stats from the first round and they hand landed similar numbers while it seemed like a very clear johnson round. Mungia def came in cold and a greater fighter could have finished him off in the 1st.

How I saw it. Johnson was pressuring and getting inside but would come out worst from the exchange.

Munguia should some championship level skills fighting off the back foot but I would like to see him in with a Top 10 contender before I'd feed him to the champions at 160. Especially with his age being so young. Canelo took an L for doing that against Mayweather.

I had the fight 3-3, it was a good stoppage. Johnson's lip was horrible.

When it comes to Munguia and his future: Munguia is really an awful boxer with horrendous defense, but that power is real and he is only 24 years old so he has lots to learn and develop. :chuck:
