Chocolatito's comeback. The commentators were just praising him to the sky.

I remember watching that last fight. Everyone was like 118-110 Chocolatito and you were like "115-113. Could be a draw." Lol.

    Round 1 Buitrago 10-9
    Round 2 Soto 10-9
    Round 3 Buitrago 10-9
    Round 4 Soto 10-9
    Round 5 Soto 10-9
    Round 6 Buitrago 10-9
    Round 7 Soto 10-9

Soto landed a hard hook early, and enough hard upjabs, power jabs and hooks throughout enough to win it rather easily.

Against a hypejob and decent overachiever journeyman, when he beats someone with a pulse I'll be impressed.

I'm liking this Soto kid. Good athleticism, hard puncher, wants to engage.

    Round 2 Soto 10-9
    Round 3 Buitrago 10-9
    Round 4 Soto 10-9
    Round 5 Soto 10-9
    Round 6 Buitrago 10-9
    Round 7 Soto 10-9
    Round 8 Soto 10-9

Soto in control now, starting to boss Buitrago around the ring, tehy['re trading a lot more, with Soto getting the better of the exchanges.

Sorry but I just can't feign enthusiasm for fighters who are the size of children's toys, especially when we have Mannix and Mora sucking the life out of everything in the commentary box.

There was a thread in the Classic a few years ago. Which fighter had the most shots at a title without winning it. I think somebody at the lower weights in the eighties got eight. This Buitrago guy has had four or five?

Would gladly watch either of these against one of those swarming style light flyweights.

This looks like two WWs fighting inside a ring built and referee'd by a giant.

You got no love for Chocolatito and Estrada? They are my favorites right now. Then maybe Inoue.

    Round 9 Soto 10-9

Buitrago still countering, but less and less on them, Soto coming forward and starting to beat him down.

There was an awesome fight by two light flyweights maybe ten or more years ago. I think it was reffed by Vick Draculich who is six foot something. It was awesome.

Seek out the Acosta match, it was an all out war. One of the best matches of last year.

    Hey, Draculich retired last month.
