I don’t see why Ali and Munguia wouldn’t have been about the same weight. When Cotto fought Ali at 154 people were talking about Ali having a a size advantage. Ali has visibly bulked up since moving to 154. He is looking kind of chunky. It’s hardly surprising that he would try to be as big as possible. 5’9” 170 is hardly huge. The issue was not really the fight night weights, it’s the natural size. Ali at 170 is bulked up, chunky, and in an alternative reality he could be coming in at a lean 155. Munguia is 21 years old and 170 is as light as he’s ever going to be. You guys really do freak out about skinny guys with broad shoulders tho lol
It's when people talk about midgets like Canelo being a weight bully I have to laugh. The guy is 5ff7 of course he will look like a tank. Put 10lbs on a 5ft7 guy and there will be a huge difference! Ali was out of shape at the weigh in, he didn't look much bigger come fight night. Not that Munguia is a huge 154lber but a 1 lbs difference is ridiculous What are your thoughts on Linares Loma 16lbs difference? They are small guys 16 lbs on midgets is huge weight !!!!
You can't be this ignorant and full of yourself. I had a card of 85/85 before knowing what the judges cards were. Seeing their cards just confirms my card. You're a nobody on a boxing board, and you think you have the ability to pull my credibility card because my scores agreed with professionals that score fights professionally. Sure, they get fights wrong, but most of you girls don't even bother to score fights. You just wag your jaws afterwards.
So compubox, and three pro judges all had the fight super competitive, but some little lady on a message board knows better. Ok, sweetheart.
Females tend to be more emotional than men, that's why they overreact and cloud their logic with feelings. My guess is Ringking is menstruating, makes things worse.
Ignorant and Full of myself, you cited the judges scorecards not me. And how could it be ignorance if the vast majority saw it the way I did I’m not trying to be “somebody” on this forum, I just enjoy talking boxing, but even if I was, what the **** would that equate to? Absolutely zilch, so who cares “Professionals that score fights professionally” so you agree with every single scorecard that’s ever been given then right? Your whole post was laughable again, but it’s good to laugh
I used to do incessant, daily insane cardio regiments when I was young to keep my weight low, 18 years old or so until my early 20's. I routinely weighed in at around 130-135 pounds in the morning day in day out. That was not my "normal" size and I should have been in my 160's even back then. It was an illusion. Here I am at age 30 and I'm about 180 pounds. I'm still solidly built, but I'm not a young fighter consistently cutting massive amounts of weight. Point is, Munguia is young and obviously going through rigorous steps to keep his weight as low as possible. In five years time this won't be possible. It doesn't matter what he weighs the day after, this is obviously not the man's normal weight.
Timothy Bradley agrees with me. Don't act as if Loma was clearly under control. This content is protected 1:20 of the video. lol I never said I agree with every judges score card. This wasn't one of the fights where a judge had a card way out of round. They ALL had the fight razor thin, as did compubox, as did most obsevers that are not utter fanboys. Go ahead and laugh. I'm sure you get a good laugh often. On paydays, and when you visit the urinal. lol
