Jaime Munguia 7-1 favorite over Liam Smith

Maybe. Hard to say. If Munguia got thumped by GGG, then became obscure, people would say Munguia was a bum.

I’m happy he didn’t get the fight because by the time GGG passes the torch, Munguia may be the one holding it. Dudes definitely moving to 160 at some point.

 

I don't think Munguia is anything special. His punches are really wide and he's wide open straight down the middle. Jermall Charlo would knock him out because he knows basic boxing fundamentals and is much more refined than Munguia. I'm not a big fan of Jermall but Munguia is a bit overrated at the moment given he's in a learning stage.

I think Munguia will pull off the victory. I do however think Liam Smith is a live dog and is better than most give him credit for.
