Spike can’t win a decision here. The Hogan result proved that. It’s ko or nothing for spike.

Ever since they outlawed weapons Bill the Butcher has been left high and dry. It's political correctness gone mad I tell ya!

Not the worst fight in the world but still expecting Munguia to win.
What's your guy's opinion on Morales? Is he a good trainer?

Punch drunk ? He'd only had about 20 fights when he lost to Spike. Let's not loose sight of my original point, I'm not saying Spike is King Kong, I just think Munguia deserves some credit for taking a fight that is more difficult than it had to be.

Options that would have been better than Spike:

Johnson, Sulecki or Culcay would have made for good fights. Even guys like Rosado or Islam would have been better options than Spike. Is Monroe Jr still banned? He'd have been better too.

Yeah, some good names there apart from Monroe, who, banned or not, is seriously fragile. Let's see who he goes for if / when he gets past Spike. Still think it will be an entertaining fight though.

Spike badly hurt granite chinned young war machine Chris Livingstone Eubank Junior.

Sorry for the late reply Al. Trainers and fighters are like locks and keys aren't they ? Morales has plenty of knowledge to pass on that's for sure. It's interesting that Munguia has decided to change trainer at this stage.

Very true although it was a fleeting opportunity. That probably says more about Eubank's chin than it does about Spike's power. We all know Spike can whack if you stand still in front of him long enough.

Spikes the hardest puncher munguia has faced. Spike should try to bomb early. Munguia is bigger, younger, fresher and will last the pace better. Spikes best hope is an early stoppage. The longer it goes on the more I'll favour munguia. If it goes the distance Munguia won't lose on the cards. We saw that with Hogan.
