This fight will not sell sh*t if it’s on PPV. I think everyone loses money on this fight. GGG should just wait until he can get a decent opponent but he’s being greedy right now.
Either Munguia's handlers think he is very good, or very bad. No other way to explain putting him in with GGG this early.
I think I'll be rooting for him against Golovkin. I'm not happy about K2 choosing Munguia when Spike and other better opponents are available. I understand why they don't want a threat, but Spike would at least be a credible opponent. This fight is useless for Golovkin's legacy and may ruin an excellent prospect as well.
Neither am I. But Spike has some decent wins at MW, is a decent contender, and sort of deserves a shot at one of the best MWs at some point. Munguia may be very good for all we know, but it's senseless to put him against Golovkin at only 21 years of age.
cash out bro plus huge publicity for their fighter GGG probably agrees to carry him a few rounds so fans get their moneys worth of course, assuming that they even sell out. Vegas is expensive to get to, expensive to stay at. Even if this fight were in LA and tickets were 100 bucks I wouldnt bother attending.
So this is the fight where GGG KO's Munguia and we get to hang off Munguia's nuts way after GGG has retired? Ya know, like the Floyders do off of Canelo?
