im sure for the cinco de mayo they maaaay show it. But im not sure to be honest.
They showed Canelo Chavez at my local Dave and Busters and obviously Canelo GGG
Cant be sure about GGG Mungjun

 

I doubt D&B would waste their time with that fight, lmfao. If I were them, I'd play whatever NBA game was airing that night, playoffs start soon. That would probably be a far better watch than Manjua vs GGG.

 

What a joke. Its always been clear that this guy avoids risks like the plunge .. This fight against a guy nobody ever heard of who isn't even ranked top 100 @ MW is inexcusable , especially considering all the other guys who have offered up their services .. GGG selecting this 14 year old looking kid to headline a PPV is an utter disgrace.

If Wilder passed on offers to fight Whyte , Kowanacki , Miller .. and then selected some unknown Cruiser Weight instead , people would lose their minds and rightfully call him a ducking joke.

This situation isn't complicated . Golovkin walked on Andrande , SD to fight a little kid nobody heard of.. On PPV

 

Even Omar Chavez would be a better choice if they're that desperate to get a Mexican.

One never knows until they actually fight. Hell, near 30 years ago ESB would have been saying, "Tyson is ducking BLAH BLAH to face that bum Douglas!!!" or even just 15 or so, "Lewis is facing Rahman...he's ducking XXX!"

 

those who turn on a fighter that quickly were never real fans to begin with. Just fickle bandwagon jumpers waiting for the next hot thing to come around to jump on to.

 

If they promote it -they lose money. If they don't promote it - nobody will buy it. It would have been better to postpone a couple of weeks and fight somebody good. But then again , those other guys are willing to fight on 4 weeks notice , so GGG should be willing to do the same.

Oh man, imagine the people who actually paid for a flight/hotel just to attend this fight. Now, it's not GGG's fault in the least the fight against Canelo got cancelled... but they are choosing to fight Manjua, a complete 100% waste of time.

 

So the solution is to be pissed at 3G. I do see...yet those who insist they will drop 3G over this are utterly idiotic. Of course, maybe that's just how younger folks act nowadays, full of entitlement. I'm 45, I outgrew that silliness a long time ago.

 

I can see fans getting pissed at GGG for picking a layup because he don't wanna risk losing the payday in Sept. Its a month out and there's time for a better opponent than the 2 names that have been presented. Im a big GGG fan and this has me real annoyed and frankly embarrassing.
