I can't tell if mungia is the next big thing or if the ali win has overrated him. But I saw him start to tire after initially hurting ali and then he got hit a couple times by sharp counters before seeming to get a second wind and knocking him out I don't know if mungia blew his load because he had Ali hurt and went for the kill and didn't get it in the same round it could just be an experience and Youth kind of like a young George Foreman who throws so hard and is so aggressive going for The Knockout I really think if anybody can get past that 4th or 5th round it'll really show where the gas tank is I just don't know if Smith is the guy to do it
All but one of the Smiths are just above club fighters with good promotion. Its going to be embarrassing im afraid. A nice kid , but its just too deep and he gets stopped badly.
Funny that people point out Smith hasnt fought anyone well besides Ali who has Munguia fought?? NOBODY. And Ali isnt Canelo.
OH yes I've seen Munguia come in reckless get Clipped & mentally say "that didn't taste so good" then he turns off clubbing Ogre mode for a bit
Munguia looked great in winning the belt but I'm still taking a wait and see attitude towards him. He has a fan-friendly style and looks promising but I agree with some here that Smith will cause him problems. LS will be a good litmus test to see exactly were he's at in the JrMW- MW landscape.
There's ZERO proof that Canelo was juicing for that fight, and you know it, so cut the BS; you're just stepping on your credibility and are simply adding crap to a topic that was getting interesting. Now to the topic at hand, If Munguia beats Smith in the same manner he beat Ali then his star-potential gets another hash mark.
You know what the irony is. He's a Fernando Vargas fan, he even used to rock his profile pic even after Fernie got popped with steroids. That's when you know his hate for Canelo has zero to do with the clen and more to do about his feelings towards Golovkin. That's true man love there.
For as long as this lasts, I can see Smith simply plodding forward onto Munguia's bombs, without any hint of a plan to at least try and turn things around.
I didn’t say he was juicing for that fight. I was just making fun. Anyway, Clenelo isn’t a fierce power puncher and took Smith out with body blows. Munguia should be able to do the same.
I've never seen any group of fans use as many double standards as they do with Canelo. These guys have zero shame.
