It was a short and sloppy brawl, with Cannon's reach advantage immediately coming into play. Lombard started going down by the ropes after being touched a few times with left crosses, and then Cannon delivered some additional punches while Lombard was on the canvas and the ref waved it off - all in just 18 seconds.
