I’m just grateful that the O2 is an indoor arena, otherwise a slight breeze could have taken him off of his feet.
I wish I had checked that out before I picked this china chinned joke. I thought, "oh, maybe's it's a fluke....." Nope. It's glass, period.
I had been told before he was really vulnerable, but you know what's it like, people exaggerate and any fighter who gets dropped or stopped is "Glass".. But WOW, this was actually painful to watch, I am wondering how or even IF he gets through sparring sessions. I hope he has a career or trade to fall back on and if he does then maybe somebody close to him should suggest hanging up him gloves, yes even this early because if you are getting dropped and stopped by those punches then boxing isn't for you. He looks nailed on to get seriously hurt or become a highlight reel KO for a few up and coming fighters.
https://www.prlog.org/10449969-fine-antique-porcelain-vase.jpg That 1 round icing he received from JJ McDonagh early on in his career was written off as a fluke. But this loss just proves he is packing some fine porcelain grade A China. Fragile care is required when handling his chin even when bubble wrapped and boxed up. As N17 says I wonder how the lad gets through sparring without doing a bambi on ice routine everytime.
Yup. Proven glass. And yet, there will some fanatical deniers who suggest "those punches would have KOd anybody!!"
