I'm going to say this, in Jake Paul's first and second fights with Tyrone Woodley he didn't show enough to beat Silva, if he's improved since which he most likely has, it will have to be a significant improvement.

Imagine how easily Silva would dominate Woodley at boxing. The threat for Silva is the punch power of Paul if he can avoid that he can make it easy and if he can hurt Paul himself he can score a big win.

Agree. Paul is terrible. He's just a young stud and very athletic, explosive. He packs a punch. But skill-wise Spider is 10 levels above. If Spider is healthy and movtivated and avoids the big shots he's going to do a number on JP.

People tend to forget that Spider beat Chavez Jr 1,5 years ago - an actual boxer with a pedigree....

Would you take either guy to stop the other, Fritz? Just curious. I won quite handsomely on Paul to stop Woodley in their rematch, but I expect to sit this one out.

I agree with everyone Paul looked bad in both Woodley fights but Silva has aged and Jake has power
All this statistic stuff doesn't work in boxing
Watch the Silva vs Tito Ortiz fight Silva backed up the to ropes with a terrible guard but landed a good right hook
Paul most like catches him on the temple or the back of the head and drops him bad

If somebody forces a stoppage it's more likely Paul stopping Spider. I don't think Spider really goes for a KO unless he really hurts Paul at some point. I didn't bet the rematch between Paul and Woodley but cashed Paul by decision +900 in the first fight which was a nice W. I would probably play this one Silva ML covered with the Under 6.5 (if Paul wins most likely by KO early).

That's why I never made a prediction. I can see it going either way there are a lot of variables we will only find out on the night but if Silva can hurt Paul and not just outbox him this will be a very bad fight for Paul.

Did someone buy this? Please don't. I respect Silva, he is one of the greatest fighters of all recorded time but I'll wait later for the YouTube upload.

JCC Jr is beyond shot. He didn't recently lose to a journeyman, he lost to a club fighter. Let that sink in. Chavez Jr was always lazy, a pothead and probably also an alcoholic. He never had it rough because of his name and made plenty of money. I think Paul would have knocked out JCC Jr that Silva faced.

As for this fight, I backed Holyfield against Belfort and I was dead wrong. It's going to be similar here where youth is served. And Silva isn't an ATG, hell he isn't even a boxer. Say what you want about Paul but he's been training in boxing for a long time. He's the actual boxer in this matchup and he'll KO old man Spider.
