    The way he describes himself in his own autobiography is pretty sick and disturbing. The movie version was a saint compared to how he really was (according to himself).

    I'm surprised he lived so long and was so sharp mentally and physically. 100 pro fights plus all those other amateur fights and sparring. He would have been sharp for a person without a history of being hit in the head.

    That was exactly what I came in here to post. Sad that he passed but he did manage to squeeze in a long and fruitful stay considering both in-ring style and lifestyle.
