    No man was ever designed to be smashed in the head but if there was an exception it was Lamota. He had possibly the best chin ever. Boxers are generally not known to live long lives so to make it to 95 is another major achievement of this extraordinary man.

    Undoubtedly one of the hardest men to ever lace 'em up. RIP, one of the all-time top middleweights and the inspiration for the greatest boxing movie ever made.
