    People of Italian descent weren't seen that high at one time in America. Specifically prior to World War II.

    In the end, it's all insecurity bull****.

    Boxing can be a great sport to bring people together...like Joe Louis did for a time. As Jimmy Cannon once said about Joe Louis: ""he is a credit to his race, the human race"

    Jake was as ducked as anybody. He didnt avoid anybody. He had to make his money the hard way like alot of the black middleweights of that time. Thats why I respect him so much.
