IIRC I have LaMotta 4th at Middleweight, right below Monzon, and above Ketchel. My dream fight with LaMotta is a 20-25 rounder with Marvin Hagler Edit: good vid, never knew he could use the jab so effectively

Was at a black tie dinner event in Dallas many years ago They had boxing as the cabaret I was there with Quincy Taylor who headlined it. The boxing guests of honor were Smokin Joe Frazier, Earnie Shavers & Jake LaMotta. It was at the time just before Earnie made his disasterous come back. We were all chatting together about it & I asked Joe if he was thinking of coming bacjk he laughed & said No Way Jake was behind us tapped me on the shoulder & said' :Keep it under your hat but I;m coming back Give me 6 weeks in the gym I could beat any middleweight in the world today" He must have been in his late 70's then. Was a night I'll never forget
