Has anyone here seen the Jake LaMotta Billy Fox fight? If so, what were your thoughts on the fight and on the revelation that Jake "took a dive"?

Yes luf I saw the LaMotta/Billy Fox fight on tv in our local bar. Remember it well... Billy Fox was a lightheavyweight banger who had a mobbed up manager pushing to a title fight...He could hit...LaMotta was a MW who just decisioned the WW Tommy Bell, who gave Robinson two tough engagements..I recall rumours before the fight that something was fishy cause the odds were changing very fast. During the fight it seemed to me, that Fox was too big and hit too hard for LaMotta...When the bout was stopped by tko in the 4th round,we at the bar tv set wasn't aware of the "dive" that Jake agreed to as Billy Fox had a reputation as a very heavy hitter, much bigger than Jake...Wonders never cease...Not soon after theFox bubble was burst when the VERY tough LH Gus Lesnevich flattened
    the overhyped Billy Fox twice...

Lamotta clearly, blatantly took a dive. Fox couldn't carry lamotta jockstrap.
