fact or fiction? when lamotta fought joey dejohn supposedly dejohn hit lamotta with a perfect one two and started back to his corner because he was sure lamotta would fall but as he got to his corner he felt someone tapping him on the shoulder and when he turned around it was Lamotta grinning(god could ya imagine that , very demorilizing)). well i have the lamota dejohn fight on dvd and i dont see this happen so is it fact or fiction?
i dont think its the full fight so i could be wrong. i just have what is available to everyone else on dvd.does anyone have the full fight?
I don't know. But that's the way to find the definitive answer. It's possible that burt bienstock or john garfield were in attendance ..... other than that I don't know.

That story is a bunch of crap obviously, as if Joey DeJohn thought himself a hard enough hitter to flatten the iron-chinned LaMotta with a one-two then turn around and walk away without even checking to see if LaMotta was on his way to the canvas....
