    1. Hairston.
    3. Jake upped his work-rate, chopping Hairston down with bunches aimed at both Hairston's body and head. LaMotta.
    6. Interesting duel of 1-2's between the boxers. It intensified as they traded powerful hooks for nearly the duration of the last minute. Hairston.
    10. LaMotta acting groggy, allowing Hairston to get punched out. LaMotta sprung into action, but it was too little too late, for a knockout or a win that is. LaMotta.

Verdict: A grueling four rounds, certainly can't fault the two boxers for being dull. But I don't know that it was great of significant footage and I'm not sure any new insights can be gleaned from watching it. However, my father did think of a brilliant thought while we watched it. So, Hairston was deaf and dumb. My dad said he thought that even though it is a handicap, it could also possibly be an advantage. If you can't hear, you can't hear the crowds, and you can't be influenced by them. No distractions. Excellent point.

Only four rounds, so hard to judge. Interesting that after boxing the first round shown, Hairston elected to stand toe to toe with LaMotta. Hairston, unlike Hayes, didn't look smaller than LaMotta. An interesting fight. LaMotta looks again like a one-dimensional mauler, but one who with the defense to avoid punches.

I have seen Hairston fight before but never thought about the problems for the referee and his opponent. I like that the announcer explained that.

    Thanks for posting.
