If the Robbie Simms and Sanderline Williams were tough close fights----think what Jake does. Iran had a ton of wars on ESPN prior to the Hearns fight. He was always in a tough fight and Jake finishes what guys like Olijide started. Aside from Hearns, there really aren't that many quality wins. Lots of close fights and some real good efforts in defeat, but he just did not get his hand raised all that often in high profile bouts.
LaMotta was harder to hit than Iran no way could Iran have evaded as many of Ray`s shots as LaMotta did in their final fight and Iran would never have got a win v Ray at all, LaMotta outjabbed RAy for ten rounds in that bout, which Ray even admitted before the right hooks to the body to their toll, different class, LaMotta`s combo punches would be too fast and his body attack was great too, the only adavantage Iran would have was power, but LaMotta hasd a great chin, Duran would not have floored Jake at all.
Iran could turn some heads with his power , but id see his best just bouncing off Jake's Chin . LaMotta by a hard fought decision .
