Why ? He can out-brawl Lamotta by out-punching him. Basically, he is more skilled and lands more than he receives

I like Hagler in this one. Too many tools and as proven AF. I suppose LaMotta could win by trying to outwork him but it's a long shot.

Yeah agree. LaMotta as tough as nails. Also, lest we forget, Antuofermo gave Hagler a good competitive fight. Clearly a swarmer had a chance.

It doesn't explain stopping LaMotta 6 times out of 6. The same LaMotta who had iron chin.

I agree Hagler would win but he's not gonna knock Jake out. Vito got a draw with Hagler and LaMotta was better than Vito. Lamotta wasn't even knocked down for over 80 fights and that was by a light heavyweight.

SRR would have finished him if the ref hadn't stopped the fight

You dont even know Haglers style much les La Motta's. Hagler was not a brawler. He would be offended if he read that. You are a kid who saw the Hearns fight in the last 3 weeks and nothing else and base yr whole opinion on that 1 moment. Get yr Ms teat out of yr mouth and grow up Chumly. You're at the bigboy table now. Stop throwing yr fits.

Oh shut the **** up. You act like you're 100 years old when in fact you are roughly my age. And fyi, I don't give a **** about lgbt.
Hagler would beat up Lamotta the same way he beat Mugabi. It was a ****ing slugfest, it wasn't ballet you Bert Sugar wannabe

You proved my point about not knowing Hag style by mentioning Mugabi who is nothing like Jake plus not Marvins normal style. I notice you left the q out. So you are questionable about yr ........? It shows in yr feminine caterwalling when in an arguement. You know not my age Nancyboy. Why would u "tink"-(you) do?

It may not be his normal style, but it's the style he'd use to beat Lamotta.

    What the **** does q mean ?!

Cause it's shown when I click on your profile, dummy.

Jake Lamotta was as tough as they come. But I really think he would take too much punishment for his own good here

So he'd accomplish it once in how many tries?

One in 6, but I don't see the relevance of that. SRR wasn't even a proper MW most times they fought

You said that Hagler would stop LaMotta 6/6 and it was your argument. That's why it's relevant

Lamotta has everything Hagler would have trouble with.

Great series if they fought them. I would say they split hairs in every fight and I think Lamotta comes out slightly better overall. Lamotta was tough, a good boxer, good inside, and Iron chinned. He was no pushover for SRR, and Lamotta even bested him once. I agree with others.

In a 6 fight series, it goes 3 and 3,......... or 3 for Lamotta, 2 for Hagler and 1 draw. Thinnest of margins.
