Ray would outbox him. He wouldn't try to sit there and trade with Jake. He was a pretty smart fighter.

I think there's too much fantasy going on here. Leonard was out on hs feet in the final 2 rounds against an old Hagler who did not make him work as hard as he might.

That version of leonard is the only 1 we have at MW. He cannot go 15 with a prime la Motta. The points score would be close and ray might be up. He just can't go 15 with a prime ATG at 160.

I dunno if he was "out on his feet in th final two rounds against Hagler" ... I thought I remember him dancing and bouncing around in the 12th.

I remember thinking he's up and points. He's showed himself a great boxer but he's exhausted. he's breathing heavily, running and then just throwing everything when he gets cornered. I think he's very, very tired.

Yeah, he was tired. I think 15 would have favoured Hagler. But the way Hagler was fighting, and the way the judges were doing things maybe SRL could have coasted a few and made it a "win" over 15.
True enough, I dont see him beating LaMotta at 160.

Leonard might have done it over 15. I think I'd have bet on Hagler but in many ways Leonard had already proved his point.
