    He was dropped at some point though IIRC.

    Lamotta via hard fought decision or late stoppage. Neither guy is unbeatable at 160, so I'll go for the more durable guy. Hearns, at length, would look dazzling, but Lamotta was a crafty fighter, and not a ******ed slugger. He would find ways to maul Tommy quite a bit down the stretch I suspect. I'm so fond of Tommys jab though, he could well outbox Lamotta here.

    Jakes the greater middle IMO. Hearns P4P. Not many I'd pick to do the distance with him, even at 160! But Hearns, whilst not having a bad chin at all, was vulnerable at times. With no blitzing on the cards here, I'd say Hearns is far more likely to be stopped, despite being the far, far bigger puncher. But Lamotta wasn't a big puncher himself, it's him putting the heat on Hearns as the fight goes on that could get Tommy out of there IMO.

    Cor that is a tough question. I'd probably have to say Rocky. Saying that there's not many sport films that are all that good if u ask me.

    I was waiting for your reply Flea :lol: I agree, Hearns is the 1 more likely to be stopped in this 1. Tommy had monster power, but was it as effective at Middle? Probably not. Would his power be able to stop one of the toughest and most durable fighters of all time? I don't think so. I also think Tommy's chin is underrated. It was far from glass, although far from the best either. LaMotta could definitely get to him as the fight progressed.

    But I still think Hearns would rack up enough early rounds to take it on points his long jab and spiteful right would be enough to certainly get Jake's respect. Winning the early rounds, Tommy would tire considerably towards the end, allowing LaMotta to come into it. But without the concussive KO power, I think Tommy survives the onslaught to take a narrow decision.

    I dunno, I just see him more playing the ganger rather than a boxer (but perhaps the gangster linking suitable for LaMotta :lol:)
