    Not highly to be honest.

I was actually somewhat optimistic about him. He is reasonably tall and has a good powerful right hand. I mean it isn't the Bredis type of right hand but it is a good punch nonetheless.

We can't rate him as a cruiser since he has not fought anyone who is even a top 30 ranked cruiser. I would favour any of the top 20-30 cruisers to beat him.

Is Paul fundamentally solid, athletic and powerful? Sure. But none of that means anything unless those skills and power are tested vs a top 30 ranked opponent.

Until Paul steps in with a real boxer, i rate him as the Kim Kardashian of boxing. Talented but not serious about boxing.

The issue for Jake is while he's a natural CW size wise (post-supplements at least), there are few names in that division that can be sold to the general public for big events. Outside of hardcore fans, few have even heard of a Jai Opetia.

So if he wants to continue as a showman he's relegated to fighting past prime retired MMA/Boxers who at least some causal have heard of. It'll never happen but he's now calling out Canelo to fight him at 200 lbs.

id love to see Paul fight Opetia. And leave on a stretcher.

and, even with the size difference, I think Canelo would demolish him. You’re talking an ATG against a journeyman level fighter (who admittedly is athletic and shows up fit, good on him for those).

sure. But he is a big enough name to draw at least a portion of his audience even if he fights a guy unknown to the general public.

There is no reason he can't do a 50-50 deal where he fights the retired MMA dudes half the time and mixes it up with actual boxers the other 50 percent of the time. He will still make a boatload of money while pushing himself as a boxer.

I don't think Jake would ever entertain the idea of Opetaia even if Jai was famous. Jai is way too good. It would be a massacre.

He's better than Tony Galento for what that's worth.

He was beat by Tommy Fumbles Fury who last time i looked wasn't even in the top CW 200.

So pretty poor is the answer.

ps I simply can't put aside my bias aside against this utter tool. I'm only human.

Vitali would still beat him bad, so I would hope to see it.

Floyd is still in good shape, never abused his body. He would probably still beat most active fighters. Very one sided win for Floyd.

floyd too little. paul just has to keep clubing him all over to hurt him. paul isnt very good, but hes good enough to use his size effectively.
