Weren’t they sparring partners? I heard they had some beef beforehand and is why Jake gave him the fight. I wonder if maybe Jake saw something in their sparring to give him confidence he can win
I don't know but I'm sure Jake knows sparring and a real fight isn't the same. Rahman Jr with a full camp and motivated has decades of experience over JP. Unless JP is some kind of boxing prodigy, he will get beaten up.
The key factor is the weight and the rehydration clause. Shawn Porter talked about that in his podcast i think and he was spot on. Hasim struggled with the cardio in recent fights and now he has to cut down AND can't rehydrate properly. It'll be tough for him if he can't take Jake Paul out in the first few rounds. On the other side Jake Paul isn't exactly a cardio machine either. Good fight though.
This is all hear say but yea some claim Hasim got the better of Jake in the past and ultimately they just don’t like each other. Maybe this really is a personal one for Jake
Not talking about that last sentence, I mean all that which preceded it. Loser Paul bros will not face a legitimate threat. Ever. Not while getting paid well to face suckas. Threatened over what?? Look child...you love this guy from his youtube vids...we get it. If you are so eager to blow him, more power to ya. You crazy kids these days....so dumb and silly...
I got nothing but respect for them Paul brothers. People thought they were keyboard warriors twitter trolls but they backed up their talk by getting in the ring multiple times they aint pussies that's for sure. Jake looks like the better of the two brothers and seems to be really dedicated to the sport. I wish him the best and hope he can pull it off even though he most likely won't.
I'm not a fan of his youtube videos jackass. The guy talked the talk and walked the walk. It kills you that your out of shape ass has been watching boxing for decades and with the same opportunities would have gotten stopped brutally by Nate Robinson let alone Tyron Woodley.
I've never really liked Jake Paul but I don't mind him either, I don't think his fights are fixed like some people claim, and tbh I think he's a smart kid who understands that boxing is a business. He's a young kid making money for himself, he engineered himself to be in a position where regardless of opponent, he's a PPV headline attraction. I respect it. At the same time, I can't give him full props for this match-up because of how severely he's draining Rahman. He's a heavyweight who always come in north of 220 lbs. By draining him down to 200 lbs, Paul is gaining a significant advantage, and because of that, I expect Paul to win by KO. What I will give him credit for, is that Paul could have picked another 40-year-old, smaller man, non-boxer. But he picked Rahman who is none of those things. I certainly respect Jake Paul more than I respect Tommy Fury.
It kills me?? And i was threatened at first?? Give that a rest you childish drama queen. Talked the talk....by carefully picking shot opponents? Suure... GTFO child...it's your nap time.
