As a couple of those comments said, it's boxers who don't fight each other that allowed the Jake Paul circus to flourish. If there was an undisputed champion v best available challenger fight every week, Paul's boxing career would have gone the same way as Mickey Rourke's.

 

we all are. But there’s zero chance Jake Paul actually takes that fight. He’s knows BEST case, he gets knocked out in a highlight reel KO and is fine after.

Sounds like someone's jealous and/or in need of money.

I don't like Paul but he's purely a symptom of what boxing's done to itself the past 20 years.

When the stars never fight each other, people will look for stars elsewhere.

 

The stars have been fighting each other in the last couple of years in Saudi Arabia, Turki got Usyk and Fury to fight each other etc.

 

The stars have been fighting each other even before Turki...... We are just seeing it with better over cards and more often. But Wilder/Fury happened without Turki....GGG/Canelo happened without Turki......Crawford/Spence happened without Turki......Ryan/Tank.....Shakur/Valdez.....Lopez/Loma.......Haney/Loma......Bivol/Canelo......etc......

I respect what Turki is doing and trying to do with/for the sport, but let's not get carried away like nothing was happening until he threw his money in it.

 

We never saw Wilder vs AJ, Fury was suppossed to be a cherry pick at the time, Turki was setting up Wilder vs AJ but they both lost had he been around 5-10 years ago we would have seen AJ vs Wilder, Fury was just comming back when Wilder chose to fight him and was completely out of shape in his two comeback fights, he wa a huge underdog and needed that fight it was his only route back.
