Nobody knew who Hasim Rahman Jr. was until Jake ''Money'' Paul dragged him out of the shadows of obscurity and afforded him the golden opportunity to completely transform his life from dosser to somebody. And this ungrateful little git has the audacity to not only duck Jake like a female dog but then he proceeds to try and sully the good name of his fairy godfather. GTFOH! I'll slap him up myself if I ever cross paths with him.

I don't get why he would sign on to a fight that he never thought he could actually make the wait for was actually thinking maybe he would show up overweight and then Force his hand to make him take the fight against an overweight fighter or have the event die I feel like that's what he should have done probably would have made a career high payday even if you missed weight

Ok, so let me try to understand where Rahman is coming from. He's coming from a KO loss and a lot of people outside boxing had no clue who he was while Paul is the cash cow. So then Rahman gets offered the big money, fame, and opprtunity to beat up and silence a man that has been dissing him about sparring and everything else. But the condition is that Rahman has to get down to 200lbs.

Rahman complains now about the clause and that he supposedly had about 45 minutes to think about accepting the fight. What is there to think about? There's Big Money, you already fought him in sparring so you could gauge the skills and threat level, and also the potential for respect is good if you beat him. You become a celebrity if you KO Jake and that helps your career and ability to get future money. Not to mention uphold the family name as his father was a champ and he'd been around boxing since birth.

Rahman then agrees to come in at 200 (he knew his body and what he was capable of), but then decides a week before the fight that it's not fair. Jake said he was cool with the fight being at 205. So all Rahman had to do was train his ass off, and watch his diet for a few months, he needed better cardio anyway as he got tired in his last fight. He needed to lose 10 pounds or so from 215 to 205. But instead he decides to do his usual thing and not go over and beyond but pull out. That's Rahman in a nutshell. Watch his training, his fights, sparring, etc, his dedication and work ethic is not there. He's sluggish and his punch technique leaves a lot to be desired. He had to BS us boxing fans to let us down a week before the fight when he could have decided that months ago.

Jake Paul is so cringe, instead of trying to make fights with part timers like Tommy Fury and Rahman junior why not fight any of the top 100 cruiser weights out there? If he is serious about boxing as he claims.

^This^, plus 10lb is really easy to sweat out the day of the weight in, it’s done in a few hours, it’s very stupid of Jr to not accept the fight because “he can’t make 205”.

But, I think Paul didn’t really want to fight either, because it’s ppl lining up to fight him so finding a new opponent would be easy.

Well if he really wants to do it fight fight someone at your own weight. Stop trying to make yourself look or sound as if you really want to fight a boxer and not fury who’s another joke

Like the natural born gladiator he is, Sweet Hands Jake tried to fight someone far above his natural weight. Unfortunately he picked someone too lazy to lose more than a pound in 3 weeks after signing the contract to fight at 200 lbs. After Rahman made no effort to meet his contractual stipulations, Jake "Money" Paul agreed to let Rahman weigh in at 205... Still no interest from Hasim.

Who agrees to fight a Heavyweight with over 100 amateur fights, while giving up 25 pounds, in just their 6th pro contest after picking up the sport a few years earlier?

It's not fighting a heavyweight if you put a rehydration clause in the contract in fact it's a disgraceful duck of his actual weight class. Fighting the 100th ranked light heavy weight at his natural weight would be more impressive than this even if it happened

Yep I can't believe there are actual hardcore boxing fans defending Jake Paul. The sooner this punk gets KTFO the better.
