A rematch would be better down the line, I think both guys can beat a handful of well picked journeyman before meeting at fringe world level.
The worst shout for robbery I’ve ever seen. Been on here 16 years. Not sure if Jake Paul has brought quite a few fans here or if people’s perceptions are really that skewed by the commentary. Giving Paul benefit of the doubt can only mean 5-3 to Fury. That would be 75-74 with the knockdown and point deductions.
It was remarkably similar to that script. Gotta be a coincidence though, can't see how you could act that out in a boxing ring without it looking suss.
In fairness to Paul, given that the result shows there wasn't a bribe or clause for him to win this one.... He is good for a guy who hasn't dedicated himself to the sport for any real length of time. Not that it says much in the professional standings, most journeymen would fancy themselves to do a job on him I'm sure... But the fact that it probably wouldn't be a shutout and that he can get a bit of success against lifelong boxers is fair play I guess. As far as that goes
Tommy won the fight clearly but with the knockdown pulling the points deficit a bit closer it all makes for the rematch which surprise surprise Paul had signed into the contract .
We saw a bad boxer vs a really bad boxer. and a very bad ref with those points off. I think paul can only do what he does. Furys light bulb could click in and he could improve everywhere. I dont think fury will go very far as a pro. the rematch is the best option for money. that or love island.
