Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley & Amanda Serrano vs. Almendra Yamileth Mercado Duarte RBR.

I think this fight was set up from the star. Woodley could have finished Jake whenever he wanted but he just wouldnt throw punches... even when Jake was cornered

 

I really hope Jake Paul takes the rematch so he can embarrass woodley again. This time I'll bet on the right man

You are not reading my posts dude you are just seeing what you want to see. At the end of the day hardcore boxing fans know that being a good MMA fighter doesn't always transfer over to being a good boxer. You can marvel at JP all you like I am just saying his boxing career is not what you are making it out to be and you are making ridiculous comparisons and not considering context. I have been in and out of boxing gyms myself for over 15 years and have had a handful of amatuer fights so I am just saying there is a big difference between training full time as a boxer and just going to the gym a couple times a week for a hit out. Woodley was a great MMA fighter but he is 40 and past his best and a lot of us before the fight were saying how terrible he looked in his training videos. If Jake Paul has three years of training full time he is not exactly a novice.

Also, anybody saying that fight was fixed musta though all his mma fights were fixed to. He sits back and does nothing because he has no stamina. You saw him shaking out his arms. Not the first time I put you in your place and you cry like a ***** and play the victim. You will do it again, and I will laugh at you and skip your essays again.

 

Of course there is difference, btw in am ranks too, some lads are fulltime.
However a lot of pro boxers are not fulltime boxers. To be fulltime usually means that he does have sponsors, investors, gets decent purses, does have family and relatives support etc alike things.
I had saw " amateurs " who had did nothing else but only boxing for damn long months and pro boxers who are working more than 100 hours/ month in another job. Best variant of course is if this is gym job and he is gym rat and is getting paid for job in the gym.
Yeah, I had also saw " amateurs " like lads who had been with paid jobs in gyms. Gyms rats.

 

People have to understand that Woodley is old, is originally a wrestler (they usually only have power in one hand), and has been gunshy for years now. Not to mention that Paul is the naturally bigger man.

Wood should have gotten the nod though, but JP is an investment. So what can you do?

 

I just saw the replay of this fight. Jake didn't need to do all that movement, all the time, he could've just stepped back and be in good position to counter. He needed to throw more 1-2's, and be more relaxed to get the snap and power, but it's a learning experience. He also learned what kind of stamina he has, and next fight needs to put more punches together. Woodley had tons of fight experience but sucks at boxing. That's exactly what I expected from him, no leverage on most punches, movement questionable, and couldn't close the distance properly.
