That's some nice trash talking from Shields. I don't blame him. You have to call out somebody to make a fight happen. These guys might as well keep calling out Frank as long as he is still fighting. And Jake is right - Shamrock's jiujitsu is the shits. He has literally devolved over the years in terms of submissions - and his fight with Diaz shows his striking is the shits now as well.
Not cool Shields just watched his buddy Nick totally destroy and embass Frank Shamrock yet he wants to call him out ? I understand he dont like him hell neither do I lost alot of respect for Shamrock with the whole Renzo Gracie incident but Shields is supposed to be some top 5 guy at his weight class an wants big fights no Shamrock isnt a big fight anymore hes been beat down in 3 out of 4.
**** that. The man is trying to make some money, Jimmie. At any given time there are only so many name fighters around these fighters so they have to try to make what they can when they can. A fight with Frank Shamrock still brings money and good exposure for his opponents. He's on his way to retiring before too much longer. If guys like Shields don't try to fight him now - they will never get another chance. I lost respect for Shamrock after the Renzo incident as well. Frank was a douche after the fight. Renzo was schooling him at the time of the DQ.
