    He'll also fight more cautiously. He can, he did it against Besputin, another massive puncher. James didn't have anything for him to worry about so he walked through him.

    Butaev has what, 13-14 fights now? A lot of room to improve, he looks to get in without jabbing, he also could mix it up body + head more. Very impressed with his educated, pressure style, very skilled. Something a little different from other Eastern European fighters. I'm a fan. I could see some very interesting fights against top fighters who can go to the body such as Spence and Porter, but also against some pure boxers like Ennis, to see if he could pressure effectively. We have a new player in the division.

    The stoppage timing was weird at least stop it when he was hurt. Not during a rnd where he was still slipping the punches

    James started very well and outboxed Butaev in the first few rounds, but Butaev is just a very strong hard hitting dude with a brutal body attack and he started beating him up from there on and you could tell he was going to wear him down and get him out of there at some point in the second half of the fight. James is a tough dude with a lot of dog in him though and he fought his heart out. I'm OK with the stoppage because James is a nice guy, was busted up, and had taken a lot of punishment from a hard puncher and he looked to be unravelling at that point when the ref dived in.
