Nonsense, Pimp. Name me one fighter from Guernsey, Jersey, Alderney, or Sark who gets so much as an iota of respect on here from across the pond? Name one from Portsmouth, Weymouth, Penzance, the Isle of Wight, Canterbury, Dover, or even Southend-on-Sea.

No, please Mr. Simpleton. Explain more how fighters who weigh in at the exact same time as their opponents and make the exact same weight as them are bullies and cheaters with that moronic, non-existent mind of yours.

Ortiz vs Ennis is a great fight of contenders, i see it as a 50/50 fight. And People like to throw weight bullying around very loosely these days. Smh

It is really that not that hard to comprehend. Some fighters dehydrate significantly more than others and rehydrate huge amounts. That size advantage is a huge advantage - whether you want to delude yourself that it's not is up to you. That huge advantage can easily overcome the skill gap at the top level.

It's this simple weight bully tactic boxers + their team use to delude idiots like yourself that they're far better than they actually are. When they actually fight opponents their size who are good they get exposed.

“Some fighters dehydrate more and rehydrate huge amounts without doing anything illegal whatsoever to hold an unfair advantage even though their opponents have the exact same opportunity as them”, Mr. Simpleton

And what’s the source for Ortiz or Ennis ever doing this against smaller opponents? Some severely ******ed, agenda driven, immensely stupid moron’s ass.

Legal does not = fair. Not all have equal rehydration /dehydration capacity you clown. The size advantage is obvious fight night. You're turning a blind eye because you're a dumb fan of the promotion you're fed.

You stupid worthless waste of time. Imagine calling others stupid and falling for this bs. Absolute imbecile

And the source of Ortiz or Ennis holding that kind of advantage over any of their opponents is: Some garbage came out of a severely ******ed, agenda driven, immensely stupid moron’s ass.

Last time I checked, Vergil Ortiz has 18 wins 18 KO's. I'd say he's a pretty explosive puncher. Not sure why you think Ennis is a stylistic nightmare for Ortiz, who has certainly proven he can beat any style anyone throws at him, be they slick counter puncher, aggressive swarmers or skilled heavy handed intelligent pressure fighters, southpaw and orthodox. Not sure how you think Ennis is a stylistic nightmare for anyone other than a face first plodder, who is basically everyone he's faced to date in a nutshell. We really haven't seen him face a stylistic challenge yet now have we? Abreu, Lipinets and Dulorme aren't exactly known for their high ring IQ's now are they? Abreu loses every time he steps up, Dulorme's recent claim to fame is, he gave tougher fights than expected to a few featherfists, all three of whom still managed to come within a hair of KOing him, and let's also be honest about Lipinets, he really should be 4-2 in his last 6 fights. He got gifts against both Bone and Clayton. We really don't know who Ennis is all wrong for, except for stumpy Light Welterweights with T-Rex arms, a sloppy wild man and a glass jawed easy to hit loser.

I'm not sure what you're basing this on. The rabbit punch on Dulorme was problematic when it comes to proclaiming that win as "impressive." Regardless, KOing Dulorme when you're a heavy handed KO artist should never been seen as something to be overly impressed by. Great, Dulorme looked decent at times against Stanionis, well... there's a reason I rarely hype Stanionis, because he's not all that impressive and a bit of a featherfist. The James match I had a draw and I was being ultra generous to Dulorme, a James 155-133 or 116-112 win would be fine as well, not in no way did Dulorme do enough to beat him. As far as Lipinets goes, how exactly is he a proven Welterweight? As I stated earlier, he should have take losses against Clayton and Bone, when you're struggling that badly against two quite average fighters, and your only good win is over Lamont Peterson who immediately retired from the sport afterward, who was coming off of 14 month layoff after he was battered senseless and stopped by Errol Spence Jr. I wouldn't say he was a world beater at 147.

As far as Ortiz goes, yeah Hooker was unproven at 147, but he had fought once as a tweener and his win over Uriel Lopez was actually quite impressive, since Perez is a Darnell Boone like banana peel journeyman and a knockout artist, who was coming off of going the distance with the very heavy handed Lemos and taking the 0 of Germain, and Hooker made him quit in one. Sure, it not that impressive, but still, Hooker's wins over Saucedo, LesPierre and Flanagan weren't bad, and he's massive at 140, and looked strong as hell at 147, a hell of a lot better at the weight that Lipinets fidgety ass. Oriz also stopped Brad Solomon, for the first time, Brad clearly showed he had a little left when he basically dominated Alexis Rocha for 8 out of 10 rounds and got robbed in his next match. Vargas had also been on a hell of a run after getting stopped by Danny Garcia a few years before, nearly stopping Khan twice, getting stiffed against a Collazo, who he should have beaten, and several decent performances in Canada. Of course stopping Herrera and then stopping Orozco for the first time in his career who hasn't fought in two years since. At the very least, we know he's operating on a higher level than Jose Carlos Ramirez. Which is quite impressive.

So while yes, maybe Dulorme and Lipinets on paper are more impressive wins. I'm not entirely sure either of them beat Orozco, you know they don't beat Kavaliauskas, and the version of Hooker that Ortiz faced, I'm not sure they get passed him either. They'd probably beat Vargas and Solomon. But... with Dulorme, you never know, he's awesome at ****ing up even the most sure of sure things.

So no, there's no real solid argument for Ennis to be ahead of Ortiz. Ortiz definitely has the better resume, and at best they're dead even overall.

Ortiz was just at 140 a mere 2 years ago, and he's roughly the same size as Errol Spence Jr, Radzhab Butaev, Abel Ramos, Maurice Hooker (former 140) and Yordenis Ugas, as is Jaron Ennis. Welterweight is full of bulkier guys. I wouldn't call either of them weight bullies necessarily, Ennis' opponents like Abreu, Dulorme and Van Heerden didn't look tiny next to him, they're all about the same size. It's just that Lipinets should never have moved up, he's clearly too small for the weight, same goes for Eyubov, who's a midget, but a husky one. As far as Ortiz goes, he didn't look massive against Kavaliauskas, Solomon, Hooker or Vargas. All of whom are around the same height, the only ones he dwarfed were Orozco and Herrera, because Ortiz was a bit of a weight bully at 140 and Herrera looks tiny next to everyone. So while that is applicable in some cases, I don't think it is with either of them. They're both too small for Light Welterweight, and fit in perfectly with you average modern day Welter.
