No, the elite fighters and slick fighters could beat him, I'd even back Angulo to beat him.

nope. prime iron mike had top notch defense along with his high powered offense plus he had fast hands. only similarities would be the pressure and good chins. tyson was equally intimidating as he was dangerous and james hasn't earned that respect yet. mora has a very good chance of beating him at this point.

I want to know what Lacy fights you've been watching because I've never seen him do the things your saying. Most of his early fights were him getting easy K.Os against nobodies. He never pressured his opponents. All he did was throw power shots here and there. No where near the rate Kirkland throws it. Kirkland at least knows how to cut off the ring. He did a good job of it against Julio who was backpedaling the whole fight.Compared to Lacy who was completely lost when Calzaghe was boxing circles around him in there fight.

The only thing they have in common is there both black and have muscular bodies.

I like to know where Mora is gonna find the power to hurt Kirkland and if he could be outworked by fighter thats in his 40s. Imagine what a pressure fighter in 20s is gonna do.

Pffffft. Hell to the **** no! What in this guy makes you believe he has the same kind of natural talent and refined skill of someone like "Kid Dinamite"? He doesn't even carry the same level of power that Mike had, Kikland seems like a good, strong puncher, but he's not the kind of guy who can whipe you out with a single punch. Just because he blitzed a couple of bums early in his career that doesn't mean he can bang with the best of them.

Holy hell people are getting carried away with this kid. :patsch

Obviously none of these two options mate. Not even CLOSE.
James loves to bang, has an iron chin and will, and can punch, but he is incredibly raw and unpolished.
His trainer also sucks bigtime imo because she (Wolfe) ain't teaching him the things he needs to know.

At least she's getting him to train and work hard. How many trainers can say that. Other than Kevin Rooney and Cus Damato all of Tyson's trainers he hired after couldn't motivate him to train and give it 100 percent in the ring. And most of the guys he hired were hall of fame trainers. Plus I don't see that much missing from Kirkland. His jab is improving, his movement is good at this point in his career, he's not even flat footed. The only problem he has is that he gets careless, but that comes from his aggresiveness. All the haters here want him to be some Floyd Mayweather Jr clone. He'll never be that type of fighter, he's not built that way.

    :good

People often forget Tyson's good defense.
