Jameel McCline is going to shatter Chris Arreola's Glass Jaw

Okay, this may be an interesting fight.

I take Arreola on points.

 

Ok, fine McCline might very well put Arreola down but what is he gonna do during the rest of the fight? In the past five years he's had Byrd, Brock and Peter in trouble after putting them all on the canvas but due to his utter passivity and unwillingness to open up any further he let them all off the hook and as a result, let victories slip from his hands. I mean c'mon, that's 3 fights in which he's scored pretty solid knockdowns and failed to capitalize. Even worse is the fact that McCline banked at least 4 of the first 5 rounds against Byrd including the 10-8 round and against Peter, well, the guy couldn't put it together wo win a paltry 2 or 3 more rounds out of 9 to hold on for a points victory. That's not good at all.

McCline is big, strong, and can take a punch but he just doesn't have the stamina nor the willingness to engage for more than a few rounds. Frankly, I believe what many others believe and that is possibility that McCline simply could not get rid of that sparring partner mentality and seize the moment.

 

McCline is a horrible fighter. This fight will tell us where Arreola is. If he can't beat a joke like McCline he has no shot at any of the beltholders.

I don't have much confidence in McCline actually WINNING a fight against a decent name opponent.

 

Agreed. I think he can push Arreola and potentially hurt him...but winning? Don't think so.

McCline is one of those guys who will always find the cloud in the silver lining.

 

I like Jameel McCline and I don't particularly like Chris Arreola.

Flooring a name opponent yes but winning...nope.

 

so if you take a knee vs. a glass jawed fighter you have a glass jaw yourself? so what, he took a knee after some wicked shots, many would have been ko'd by those. arreola is definitely going to win, maybe even scoring a late stoppage. he could be the next big thing, i wonder why not more fans are standing behind the possible first mexican hw champ.

 

he beat shannon briggs, boswell, shufford, whitaker, grant, cole. not the worst resumé.

 

I've given up on McCline actually winning a big fight but Arreola ain't anything special and McCline winning by KO wouldn't surprise me.

First off Travis Walker hadn't even been on the canvas prior to the Arreola fight. His one stoppage was a ridiculously quick wave off in 15 seconds that he quickly avenged by knocking out his opponent in a rematch.

This glass jaw **** is just getting ridiculous. So ridiculous that the names of supposed glass jawed heavyweights now includes Peter, Arreola, McCline, Klitschko, and seemingly grows every day.

And to call Arreola glass jawed is just ludicrous. Walker is a big bomber with a high ko percentage. Arreola took a tactical knee. Glass jawed fighters don't take knees they just fall.

As to the fight I think it could be difficult depending on which McCline shows up but I still think Arreola prevails.

 

Arreola by KO inside of 3 rounds.

 

To me Aerrola is another Sam Peter with slightly better skills but a weaker chin(not saying it is glass).

Here are some glaring similarities ;
Speed - none to speak of, Aerrola may be even slower
Conditioning - none to speak of, they are both fat as ****
Skills - while they both show flashes of mediocraty they generally have little boxing ability.
