Stevenson was supposed to be the next big thing, yet I have only had slight interest in two of his fights. Not because Stevenson is boring, which he is, but his opposition has been so lackluster. I pay little attention to 126 or 130 and I have no idea who these B and C level guys are that Stevenson has been fighting. Maybe now they finally get the ball rolling with Herring. Plenty of fights to make for TR and Stevenson at 130.
Here's hoping they can agree terms. Stevenson is gaining nothing from dominating his current level of opposition, it's about time we see him tested against the best in the division.
I really hope Herring puts a beating on that fool so this hype train can stop before it really gets started. I don't call many fighters boring but Shakur is like Ambien in human form.
He's not. Stevenson is going to box his ears off and maybe even stop him. He's a special talent and you can see it. Herring is a good fighter in his own right but he isn't on Stevenson's level.
