I was not that impressed with Zayas last year IIRC. He's really developing well though.

Even if Stevenson wins is it even all that impressive I don't really rate herring all that highly

If you're struggling now imagine how you'll feel when the main event starts!

This is getting brutal. Damn Dan is tough as nails.

Herring is a good, borderline very good fighter. Shakur hasn’t faced one of those yet.

kid looks amazing for a 10 fight fighter. a puerto rican virgil ortiz, both true to their cultural boxing roots. the best from both schools. The money on a fight between those 2 if they are still undefeated in 3 years is life altering. then throw boots in the mix... welters future looks very bright.

    Round 2 Zayas 10-9
    Round 3 Zayas 10-9
    Round 4 Zayas 10-9

Dan's Dad in the corner really needs to pull him out.

I was about to call SOG out for hypocrisy when he was criticizing Zayas for barking every time he throws a punch (and thus sort of telegraphing everything he does) but then remembered that he never actually had that bad habit, which is carried over from the amateurs by entirely too many boxers in the U.S., including his old 2004 Olympic squad teammate and mooted rival (and fellow Andre), Dirrell.

Look, I'm from the South, and even though I don't have an ounce of an accent, most Southern accents don't bother me in the least, some are even sexy. But that ref's, his makes me very profoundly uncomfortable.
