Big fan of moores but no sure hes cut out to be a great coach...hes almost to sound a guy.

Think its a bit unfair on him regarding frampton tho...got him near the end. Had hit that point where their almost forced to move up. Too big an ask for most...moving up fighting the much bigger guy tonight....at an advanced age.

Need to start moving these guys up much earlier in their careers even before its necessary. Otherwise their pretty much finished after 30 battling to stay in the weight class. A younger guy fighting a bigger guys got a chance. An older guy...sometimes a different story.

Frampton has been over the hill since the Jackson fight. One of our best though but never liked how he ducked Rigo so hard.

It was a risk, obviously. However, if Carl's chin wasn't so far gone, this would have gotten really interesting in the later rounds, hell, it was getting interesting before Carl got too reckless and walked into that straight left. He was doing exactly what I thought he'd do, he was able to negate the reach on several occasions and take it to his body and was landing some nice overhands. Also, I never sad Jamel wasn't going to win the early ones. I was fully expecting him to.

Herring vs Colbert. Let’s make that one. Which means they won’t make it.

Yeah fair points, personally I think Framptons mind knew what he wanted to do but his body just couldn't do it any more.

Feel bad for Frampton there but he was outclassed. Maybe one last fight at home and call it a day.

Sad end to a great career.

He may have been a happier fighter under Jamie Moore but there's no doubt he was a better fighter under Shane McGuigan

I dont really see Herrings talent at all. Hes not that good. He looks like a guy who should be fighting 10 rounders. Not even kidding.

Hes slow, kind of stiff and flat footed. Not much snap in his punches.

He has starved himself and ate nothing but chicken breast and celery to boil down to 130. Because 135 got too hot with young talent. So he bailed the division to go pick on smaller men.

He moves like a zombie in there. And fights like a mummy.

Good stoppage, goodbye Frampton. Herring-Stevenson will be a passing of the torch to me, can’t wait.

it was mostly the size disparity, i could see early how their punches were having different effects on each other, so i was expecting what ultimately happened. the imbalance would keep getting exponentially bigger till the guy with lighter hands and less resistance is done in. but it was also herrings ability and smart boxing that did the trick.

A shot fighter going up against a much bigger guy is pretty much doomed and that's what happened.

He's not a shot fighter, stop alluding to that. It's just an excuse.
