Thanks for the appreciation from everyone.

Yeah. Obviously, almost all of the highlights were from the first 2 fights...The third was filler, but it still felt incomplete leaving it out.

The first fight was beautiful stuff, one of the best displays of skills from both sides.

Mike Tyson was a warrior at heart.

How wrong his detractors are when they imagine him folding once he gets punched hard in fantasy fights.

Like Buster says, any man who can stay champion is many cuts above. Louis, Ali, Holmes, Marciano, Frazier, Tyson, they all did it. What amazes me is all great champions had something to fight for: Ali, Louis and Marciano did it at least partially for the people; Holmes had a family, his fear of poverty, and his hometown base. Tyson was a kid who challenged for the title really having nothing to fight for, save the memory of a beloved mentor. Yet he kept it together for three years and gave us a riveting run in the heavyweight division.

And, in Tokyo, though not possessing the necessary tools anymore, he had to nearly be decapitated and was still struggling to rise at 9 before surrendering the crown.

Young Mike Tyson was drawn to those old videos of boxing champions like an eagle takes to the skies. His essence as a fighter was shaped there, and he proved it, succeeding from ghetto anonymity to the ranks of the greatest in history.
