James ‘Bonecrusher’ Smith vs John Ruiz

Two things:

1. Yuck

And

2. Ruiz hugs his way to a disputed split decision in an all time snooze fest where the ticket to the fight says “ do not operate machinery while watching this fight. “

 

I'll do you one better. The ticket will say; "Do not watch this fight."

 

Might not lead to high ticket sales but it would certainly be a good public service !!!

 

Watching Smith vs Ruiz would be a good punishment for violent criminals, terrorists and drug lords. It’ll ensure They’ll never do that shlt again.

 

I will say that if the Smith of the Witherspoon or Ribalta fights shows up, Ruiz is going to be knocked out in the first round.

I do think that Witherspoon threw that fight, but do you really think that Ruiz would survive Bonecrusher rushing him like that?

 

Well he folded pretty quick against Tua so who knows.

 

ruiz fought 3 wars dead even with Holyfield who was coming off a close 12 round loss to Lennox Lewis. Ruiz also beat a prime Hasim Rahman, Andrew Golota (recently robbed vs Byrd), undefeated Kirk Johnson (just destroyed Maskaev), Jameel Mccline (coming off controversial loss vs Sam Peter)…

Ruiz gets underrated. He was a handful for certain styles

I know all this. But watching him fight was like watching the goddamn paint dry.

 

I think most will tell you that Golota was robbed against Ruiz, too.
